Journal scope: The Journal publishes original papers presenting the modern experimental and fundamental investigations regarding the Earth sciences, which have not been previously published in other Russian and foreign journals and are not supposed to be published in other journals.
Besides the scientific papers, the Journal publishes the following materials: analysis of the modern evolution of geological investigation in the region, history of prominent scientific events, information on conferences, workshops, fieldworks, field schools, publications concerning development of geological sciences in the region and personalia.
The Journal does not publish papers falling outside the scope of the Journal, as well as papers containing data restricted by the acting legislation of the Russian Federation and departmental regulations.
