Creation of the layout of GIS - project "Petropavlovsk geodynamical polygon" for a information supply with system for complex geophysical observations

Abstract

For granting data about location of the observation stations, their features as well as about geological, tectonic and seismic conditions is used layout of project created on the base ArcGIS. In this work is presented possibility of the geographical information system (GIS) for solution of seismological, geophysical, hydrogeodynamical and other problems of the complex geophysical monitoring. Layout of GIS-project "Petropavlovskiy geodynamical polygon" includes topographical base, hydrography, data about location of the observational stations, regional catalogue of the earthquakes; geological, tectonic, geomorphological cards, schemes of anomaly magnetic and gravitational fields. The project also contains the database, containing data about displayed objects including coordinates and names as well as additional information presented in tables.
