Location
Volcano is situated on the western slope of the southern part of Tumrok ridge in 115 km from Milkovo and in 265 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Form and structure
It is a conical stratovolcano with a small lava dome at the summit.

Andesites, andesibasalts.

Hazard synopsis
Moderate potential hazards are caused by ash plumes, ash falls, pyroclastic flows, hot avalanches and lahars.
The volcano constitutes a potential hazard to international and local airlines at Kamchatka because its eruptive clouds and plumes can rise to a height of 10 km a.s.l. and extend for hundreds of kilometers of the volcano.
