This paper provides the results of geologic and tectonic interpretation of deep geophysical surveys conducted in the area of Kamchatsky Isthmus and continental part of Kamchatsky Krai (region). Taking into consideration the recent seismic activity registered in April and May 2006, we examined in details the conjunction of the Central - Koryak and Olyutorsky structural and formational zones. The total recorded geological and geophysical information related to this region for previous years has been scrutinized. The key conclusions of this study are based on the results of magnet telluric sounding (MTS).
