Journal of Volcanology and Seismology publishes theoretical and experimental studies, communications, and reports on volcanic, seismic, geodynamic, and magmatic processes occurring in the areas of island arcs and other active regions of the Earth. In particular, the journal looks at present-day land and submarine volcanic activity; Neogene–Quaternary volcanism; mechanisms of plutonic activity; the geochemistry of volcanic and postvolcanic processes; geothermal systems in volcanic regions; and seismological monitoring. In addition, the journal surveys earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and techniques for predicting them.

The journal Vestnik Kamchatskoy regional'noy assotsiatsii «Uchebno-nauchnyy tsentr». Seriya: Nauki o Zemle (Vestnik KRAUNTs. Nauki o Zemle) translated as "Bulletin of Kamchatka Regional Association «Educational-Scientific Center». Earth Sciences" publishes the results of the original fundamental and applied investigations in Earth Sciences (geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, volcanology, seismology), that were not published or send for editing and further publication in other Russian and foreign journals.
The journal contains not only research articles but also information on: the modern state of geosciences development in the region, the main scientific events in the region (conferences, meetings, seminars, expeditions, field schools).

Журнал «Вопросы географии Камчатки» является печатным органом Камчатского краевого отделения Русского географического общества. 
В настоящее время в круг освещаемых в журнале вопросов входят география экономическая, физическая и медицинская; география населения, промышленности и сельского хозяйства, транспорта и инфраструктуры; история великих открытий на Камчатке, а также проблемы географического, природно-ресурсного районирования и картографирования и т. д. В качестве заметок принимаются к публикации описания уникальных явлений природы и социума.
