Shiveluch 

 

Outcrop about 12.5 km southeast of Shiveluch volcano, 500 m up the valley from that shown on Fig. 5. A debris avalanche deposit (dad) with an age of about 3700 years BP (debris avalanche unit IV in Ponomareva et al., 1998) lies at the top of an older pyroclastic flow unit and is overlain with a sequence of ash and paleosol layers.
