Soil-pyroclastic cover overlying the deposits of the Tolmachevo lake terrace. Regional marker ashes are OP (1500 14C years BP) - from Baranii Amphitheater crater at the foot of Opala volcano, and KS1 (1800 14C years BP) - from Ksudach. Thin pinkish ash layer at the top of the section is from Opala volcano. Dark-gray ash under KS1 and paleosol is from a local monogenetic vent. The handle of a shovel is marked in 10-cm intervals.
