Holocene tephra sequence 7 km ESE of Spokoiny volcano. Dark cinders of Nylgimelkin (N), X Cone (X) and Tobeltsen Cone (T) overlie KHG marker tephra layer with an age of ~6850 14C yrs from Khangar volcano. Other tephra layers are now under study to determine their sources. Radiocarbon dating of the paleosols and peat interlayered with these cinders in different sections have allowed to determine their ages.
