"Kutkh's boats" – a 100-m high exposure of white silicic ignimbrite in the Ozernaya river valley, west of the Kurile Lake caldera. Kutkh was a hero of local folklore, and the shape of the ribs in ignimbrite might have resembled huge overturned boats out to dry.
