Krokur maar (about 4300 14C yrs BP) located at the northern edge of the cinder cones zone north of Krasheninnikov caldera. Lava flow from Zametny cone (3400 14C yrs BP), the youngest vent in this zone, forms a shoreline of Kronotsky Lake at the left. Kronotsky Lake drains into Kronotsky river.
