Krasheninnikov volcano

Holocene cinder cones and craters north of the Late Pleistocene Krasheninnikov caldera. A series of N-S-trending dykes, which fed monogenetic vents of this northern zone, cuts the caldera rim and can be traced farther south towards the Holocene Krasheninnikov volcano (at the background). These dykes are related to the zone of sub-surface extension, which goes as far south as Maly Semiachik volcano and crosses on its way such calderas as Uzon, Bolshoi Semiachik, and Maly Semiachik (Florensky, Trifonov, 1989).
