Koshelev volcano

Koshelev volcano from the east. We are standing at the saddle between Koshelev and Kambalny volcanoes, in the upper streams of Pauzhetka river, and are looking at the eastern cone of the sub-latitude Koshelev range. This cone was a source of a large eruption about 6500 14C years BP, which produced voluminous cinder fall, with grains varying in composition from basaltic andesite to dacite, and basaltic andesite lava flows.
