A shematic map of Kikhpinych volcano. Three Holocene vents from right to left (or from west to east) are: Zapadnyi ("Western") cone built 4200-4100 14C years BP; Savich cone active since 1450 14C years BP; Crab lava dome, which formed on the eastern slope of Savich cone only few hundreds years ago. A pyroclastic flow unit of the initial phreato-magmatic eruption, underlying the Savich lava flows, is seen near their edges. Lava flows of Savich cone were erupted in three stages: 1350, 1250-1300 and 600 14C years BP. They are shown with different fillings.
