Northern inner wall of the 1901 crater at the eastern slope of Iliinsky volcano. The crater exposes the erupted products from Iliinsky: the lava flow at the right is overlain by white pumice (ZLT), dated at 4850 ¹⁴C yr BP, and younger tephras. The upper stratified package of tephra is from the 1901 phreatic eruption. At the background, a blue lake separates thick andesitic lava flow (ab.2000 yr BP) at the left and a rim of the early Holocene collapse crater enclosing Iliinsky volcano - at the right.
