Quite an unusual view of Gorely volcano in September, 2001: normally, extensive snow patches stay on the volcano's slopes during the whole summer. These snow patches accumulate a lot of dust, so, melting, they leave large dusty depressions. The volcano is viewed from the southeast. Its has gentle slopes and resembles a shield volcano.
