Gorely

Gorely volcano viewed from the space. The late Pleistocene-Holocene volcanic ridge is located in a late Pleistocene caldera. Dissected surface of the ignimbrite sheet associated with the caldera is seen west and south of the latter. Black narrow "snake" in a lower left corner is one of the most recent lava flows from Gorely. Other flows likely of the same eruption can be seen on the southwestern and southern slopes of the volcano. Slope of Mutnovsky volcano is in the lower right corner.
