Holocene cone of Gamchen volcano named Baranii ("Sheep's") is sitting on a slope of its Late Pleistocene predecessor. An extrusive dome Lukovitsa ("Onion clove") is at the right. Its formation took place during one of the active periods of Baranii cone, between 3600 and 3000 ¹⁴C years BP. Both are composed of low-potassic basalt-basaltic andesite.
