Tephra of the Kinenin maar in a peat section 90 km ENE of the source (Uka Bay). KS₁ is a regional marker tephra from Ksudach volcano with an age of ~1850 ¹⁴C yrs BP. Lenses of tephra between K and KS₁ layers are from Shiveluch volcano. A measuring tape is marked in 10-cm intervals.
