Bolshoi Semiachik massif

 

 

 

Holocene andesitic extrusive dome Ezh ("Hedgehog") on the eastern slope of Bolshoi Semiachik massif. This dome, as well as Korona ("Crown") dome located about 1.5 km west of Ezh, were formed about 5600 14C years BP. Both produced minor pumice fall, lava flows and lahars. Lahar fan associated with Ezh lava flow is seen in the lower right part of the photo.
