Bezymianny

Bezymianny volcano from the northeast. Volcanic edifice is destroyed by a large horse-shoe shaped crater formed as a result of the 1956 sector collapse. Extrusive dome named Novyi ("New") started to form inside the crater after the 1956 eruption and now almost filled it. The 1991 lava flow is seen at the slope of the dome. Flank extrusive dome (Expedition dome) is seen at the left at the slope of the volcano. Slope of Kamen' volcano is at the right.
