The principal hazards of this volcano are ash explosions, ash clouds, ash falls, pyroclastic flows lava flows and lahars.

Ash falls possible at:

Pauzhetka (14 km to the northeast from the volcano)
Ozernovskiy (18 km to the northwest)
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (230 km to the northeast)
