(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:After explosive eruption on 09 March, 2017, and long effusing of several lava flows on the lava dome flanks, the volcano is quiet at now. Strong gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano. KVERT continues to monitor Bezymianny volcano.

Strong gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
