(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:Chirinkotan volcano has been quiet since 24 August, 2021. An ash plume for 126 km of distance was noted on 23 August, 2021, last time. KVERT continues to monitor Chirinkotan volcano.

A moderate gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
