(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:Explosive eruption of Zhupanovsky volcano began at night on October 23, 2013. Ash plume reise up to 16,400 ft (5 km) a.s.l. and is extending to the south-east of the volcano at now. Ash covered Nalychevo Valley about 1 mm of layer. Satellite data show ash plume is extending 25 mi (40 km) to the south-east and south of the volcano.

Moderate explosive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 32,800 ft (10 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
