(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:Ash plume height decreased to 21,300-24,600 ft (6.5-7 km) a.s.l. but plume containing a big amount of ash extended about 736 mi (1188 km) to the south-east and east of the volcano (satellite data at 0135 UTC on October 19, 2013).

Explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 32,800 ft (10 km) a.s.l. are possibly. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
